The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, SERAP, reacting to the video, said corruption was to blame for the state of airports in Nigeria.

The group while identifying said Nigeria needed great leaders who had the interest of the people in order to make improvements in the country.

SERAP stated this in a post on its official Twitter page. The tweet read;

“The problem is many large-scale airport projects in Nigeria since the return of democracy in 1999 have been seriously tainted by corruption.

“We have the resources to do it but we need leaders that can create a state that serves its people’s interests.”

  1. it is only corruption that made the country not to be more developed in infrastructural and technological system. everyone in power is seeking for the benefits and good of their families and well wishers. but it is well and Nigeria shall stand back on their feet

  2. Nigeria needs a genuine leader to make some parastatas right, but we all as individuals should also engage in a fight against corruption to correct the errors in the nation

  3. Is true perhaps only if you can go to the Nigeria airport to see the kind corruption that’s going on there.you will know that this country have a long way to go.

  4. When Okiki complained then, they saw him like oversabi celeb, now that 2baba has say it again, what 2 do Biko?! Government go and do the needful o

  5. If Nigerian need good leaders who have the intrest of the people in mind, then why are Nigerian still voting for those old fool still in office.

  6. it is only corruption that made the country not to be more developed in infrastructural and technological system. everyone in power is seeking for the benefits and good of their families and well wishers. but it is well and Nigeria shall stand back on their feet

  7. The truth is always bitter when is been said, this is just the truth, let’s learn, let’s be advanced, let’s change our mind set, let’s upgrade

  8. Yes we do really need leaders to do it….but since the are not doing it and are not ashamed….someone need to sing the bad legacy they are doping into their ears….

  9. Of course we need a true leaders who are ready to sacrifice their intellectual intelligence for the better of Nigerian’s tomorrow, in Nigeria we are blessed with so many resources that can be used to achieved all our goals as a country, but unfortunately things are not going as it supposed to be.

  10. If only leaders can be like the leaders of the developed countries who thinks of a way to better their economy and life of it’s citizens not way to better their Bank account

  11. The best advice for us now is to elect good leader.because good leadership bring fortune and good things to the country for the betterment of all the citizens

  12. Little by little these money hungry, power driven mongus are rendering our airports obsolete….. something seriously needs to be done to checkmate these redundant acts

  13. Honestly we need great leaders who will take Nigeria to a greater height. Nigeria state of mess is due to the level of corruption in the country.

  14. Corruption has eatten deep in the life of our leaders.They. know the right thing to do but their selfish interest wil not let them do it.

  15. corruption in Nigeria is not only about politicians, but involves all Nigerians. The subsequent “leaders” in Nigeria have been struggling to correct the rot Babangida created without much success. Now, the same Nigerians who are crying about corruption are the same people clamouring for Atiku who is a carbon copy of Babangida, if not worst, in terms of corruption and “leadership” of serving the interests of foreign sponsors and his own at the expense of all Nigeria. Nigeria has a great potential to be the greatest wholly black nation on earth, but the job is for all of us, not just the politicians. We have to reorient our thinking.Nigeria is a beautiful landmass and if this landmass is bad, then the fault is with all the Nigerians living in it.”Ask what you can do for this landmass called Nigeria to make it beautiful, not what the landmass can do for you!”

  16. the country not to be more developed in infrastructural and technological system. everyone in power is seeking for the benefits and good

  17. So how will going to fight the corruption is it by arresting only the opposition parties… Or those that stand against some bad policies of the government….
