See how Nigerians are creating virtual 3D animals in their homes

Some Nigerians are turning their homes into a mini zoo with the Google’s Augmented Reality (AR) which allows them to bring 3D animals to reality.

If you are an Android or iPhone user, you can search for an animal on your device and underneath the image search results you’ll be able to see a box that says, “Meet a life-sized lion up close”.

Click the “view in 3D” button that will be clearly displayed, then click “view in your space” to see the animal in your own surroundings.

Clicking the ‘View in 3D’ button generates a 3D model users can spin around and inspect on their phones. The animal also moves around, sniffing and scratching while being watched.
