Samantha Winchester Ann Arbor is the wrong-way driver in the Wisconsin coach accident that killed Howard Moore family members.

23 year old Samantha Winchester lived in Ann Arbor and was also killed in the Howard Moore accident. She was from Saline, Michigan.

Howard Moore’s wife and daughter, Jennifer and Jaidyn Moore were killed in the crash. Howard and his son Jerell survived but with injuries of unknown severity at this time.

Coach Moore and his family were involved in the violent wrong-way vehicle accident in Michigan early Saturday morning.

According to Michigan news source MLive.com, Samantha Winchester’s vehicle struck the Moore family while driving the wrong way on M-14.

Samantha Winchester was pronounced dead at the scene.

The University of Wisconsin athletic department released the following statement regarding the multi-car accident involving men’s basketball assistant coach Howard Moore and his family.

“Early Saturday morning, the University of Wisconsin athletic department learned of a tragic automobile accident in Michigan involving assistant men’s basketball coach Howard Moore and his family.

We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Howard’s wife, Jennifer, and their daughter Jaidyn. Howard and his son, Jerell, both suffered injuries but are expected to recover.

The Badgers athletics community is a tight-knit family and Howard has been a terrific ambassador for Wisconsin for nearly 30 years, dating back to days as a UW student athlete.

Our hearts are with Howard and Jerell and we, as a community, will support and lift up the entire Moore and Barnes families.
