RCCG Marathon Messiah’s Praise Concert 2020 in 21 countries

RCCG Marathon Messiah’s Praise Concert 2020 set to hold 2nd to 5th March in 21 countries across six continents. Nathaniel Bassey, Tim Godfrey, Mercy Chinwo, Bukola Bekes, others to minister.

The organizers of the world’s longest annual interdenominational non-stop gospel concert “Marathon Messiah’s Praise” has announced that this year’s edition will hold in 21 countries.

Speaking at a news conference in Lagos, the Music Director of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Kunle Ajayi said the event tagged “Jesus, The Lamb of God” will hold between the 2nd and 5th March, 2020 in 21 countries across six continents.

He listed the country to include Nigeria, United States of America, Canada, England, Australia, Spain, Scotland, United Arab Emirates, Cameroon, Kenya, Netherlands, Sweden, Malaysia, South Africa, Ireland, Ukraine, Brazil, Israel, Zambia, Ghana as well as New Zealand.

Pastor Kunle Ajayi disclosed that Marathon Messiah’s Praise has been setting new records and witnessing astronomical growth yearly since inception in 2012.

He said the Youth Centre of Redemption Camp which has been the venue of the 8 previous editions can no longer accommodate the thousands of attendees, thus prompting the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A. Adeboye to announce the Prayer Foyer of the 3 by 3 Km auditorium, Redemption Camp as the new venue.

On his part, the project coordinator for Marathon Messiah’s Praise concert, Pastor Femi Oyetunde told newsmen at the news conference that prominent Nigerian gospel artistes Nathaniel Bassey, Tim Godfrey, Mercy Chinwo, Bukola Bekes, Olumide Iyun, Eben will join over 210 Worship ministers and choral groups to minister across the 21 participating Countries.

He said stated that the Nigerian stream of the event can be watched on Dove TV (Channels 349 on DSTV) while the other streams can be watched live on YouTube via the Marathon Messiah’s Praise channel and the Marathon Messiah’s Praise website (www.mmpraise.org) as well as via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter @themmpraise.

Pastor Femi added that over 6,000 people have registered to volunteer in various departments including Music, Sanitation, Welfare, Soteria (Prayer & evangelism Team), Medical, among other key sections of the programme.

The gospel concert now in its ninth year is held annually to appreciate God’s mercies and faithfulness over the life of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A. Adeboye with each hour representing one year of his life.
