Prince Osisioma Foundation marks International Mother Language Day 2020

Due to western invasion, we mostly loose connection with our local dialects and have embraced foreign languages thereby relegating our mothers tongue. Research has shown that with this speed, before the next 50 years our mother tongue will be spoken by very few among the elites in Nigeria.

That’s why Prince Osisioma Foundation team in collaboration with Anambra State Broadcasting services went around town interacting with people on the streets and asking them various questions in their mother tongue.

We encourage all to embrace their language be you Igbo, Hausa, yoruba, igala, ibibio and so many other languages in Nigeria.

Watch the video and see the reactions of people on the streets of Anambra State.
