According to a report by The Guardian, about 72.7 million Nigerians are expected to elect a president that will lead West Africa’s most populous country for the next four years.
The major contenders for the post of the president of the country are the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC and ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party.
Voting has begun in several polling units while some are about to kick-off. In fact, Buhari and his wife Aisha Buhari voted as early as 8:15a.m in Daura, Katstina State.
