Following the viral use of pre-wedding photos by couples who are intending to walk down the aisle, a Nigerian man identified as @em_mozay on Twitter, has started off a debate as he argued that pre-wedding photos is ‘haram’ meaning ‘evil’.
According to the Nigerian man, he will not die and end up being burnt by the flames of ‘jahannam’, all in the name of flaunting. Here are his tweets;
Pre wedding pictures in Islam is haram. Haram is haram even if the whole world is doing it! No Pre wedding pictures for me. I will not go die then be burnt by the flames of jahannam, all in the name of flaunting. Subhanallah astaghfirullah
Why fight when you can always keep the peace. This is not about being the bigger person but about having peace of mind. Wallahi your heart beats faster whenever you see that person whom you’re about to fight with even if you’re bigger, stronger & powerful than him/her.
However a follower asked him;
I thought it’s abhorred but not Haram Can u xplain to us how u arrive at d conclusion dt its Haram.
And here’s his reply;
Sure. Prophet Muhammad SAW said: If one of you is to be stabbed in the head with an iron needle, it is better for him than to touch the hands of a woman whom is not permissible for him…
I am not an Ustaz but I hope this is educative enough.
They use words we don’t understand to distract & make us do harram saying it’s civilization. Careful my dear brothers & sisters.
You are welcome brother. It really does hurt but but Allah knows best
