Police arrest woman for allegedly rubbing pepper on 12-year-old girl’s private part

A woman has been arrested for putting pepper in a 12-year old girl’s private part for stealing in Anambra state.

The Police in Anambra has arrested a woman, Mrs Charity Effiong for allegedly applying pepper on a 12-year old girl’s private part for stealing N26,000.

According to DailyPost, the woman has been detained at the Central Police Station, Awka after a good-spirited individual who found the girl wandering about town when she was sent out of the house reported to the police.

“It was not long after the matter was reported in the police station that the madam appeared, claiming the housemaid was abducted,” a source told the media house.

The 12-year old girl identified as Precious Nwali is a house help who alleged to have stolen her mistress’ N26,000 at Nzekwe Street, near Kwata meat market in Awka, Anambra state.

The victim, from Ebonyi state, was allegedly stripped naked and pepper applied on her private part by the mistress, who also sent her out from the house around 10.30pm.

Mrs. Amaka Okoye, who picked the girl on the street said it took her about thirty minutes to wash off the pepper in the girl’s private part.

The Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the arrest, said the suspect denied applying pepper in the victim’s private part.

He said, “She said the girl stole her N26,000 which led her to remove her pant so she can see whether she hid the money inside her pant.”

Mohammed, however, said investigation has commenced on the matter.
