Paul Pogba has broken silence concerning former Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, who was sacked by the club last December.
Pogba who had issues with the Portuguese made it clear that the sacking wasn’t as a result of of power play but because results were poor under his management.
“What were the issues? We were not winning.
“That’s why they decided to change the head coach.
“The results matter the most. If we were winning, we would have good results and the coach would have remained at his position. That’s all,” Pogba told a news conference, ahead of Friday’s Euro 2020 qualifier against Moldova.
Since the appointment of interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, United have seen a new fine form. They prepare to take on Barcelona on the UEFA Champions League round of eight.
