His death was confirmed by Mayor Strickland who released a statement saying:

“Sadden to learn of the passing of Pastor Ralph White, a good man who leaves a strong legacy for Memphis.

I’ve known him for 25 years and always enjoyed visiting with, and getting advice from him. My condolences to his family and everyone at Bloomfield Full Gospel Baptist Church.”

Memphis Pastor Ralph, according to reports, died while giving an eulogy at his church Saturday when he collapsed.

The cause of his death has not been determined.

He was the founder of GOD SO LOVED Prayer and Outreach Ministry in Memphis and also the founder of the annual Martin Luther King Park Fishing Rodeo.

Pastor Ralph White is survived by his wife of 39 years, Janet, their three children and seven grandchildren.

His funeral arrangements are pending.
