Pastor arrested for allegedly impregnating maid

A Pastor identified as Pope Paul has been arrested by officers of Igando Police station for allegedly impregnating a 14-year-old girl who works for him as a maid.

According to a report by Independent NG, the mother of the victim alleged that sometime in August 2017, her daughter was brought to Lagos from Ondo State to live with the suspect and his wife.

She stated further that, she discovered her daughter was pregnant sometime in June 2018 and that when she interrogated her, she mentioned the name of the suspect (Pastor).

The victim stated in her statement that it all started in January 2018 when the suspect started having sexual intercourse with her and got her pregnant.

She stated further that she gave birth to a baby girl sometime in April 2019.

The suspect has been charged to court.

In a related development, One Aliyu Ali Mohammed has been arrested for allegedly having sexual intercourse with a 14 years old girl (Name withheld) inside an uncompleted building in the Peace Estate Iba area of Lagos.

A statement signed by DSP Bala Elkana on behalf of Lagos State Police Command says the lid was blown open when one Harrison Chukwerueke reported the incident.

He told the Police that he caught the suspect in the act.

    People who do such things are not so sound mentally,or dont know the difference between a minor or an Adult?
