Nigerian troops and police battled on Tuesday as cruel Shi’ite Muslim protesters created another march in the capital Abuja, despite Monday’s casualties.
According to witnesses, the air was bombarded with teargas as militants and police officers made arrests after the Shi’ite group.
Gunshots could also be heard during the incident.
The Shiites moved in protest against the continued arrest of its leader, Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky and his wife Zeenat.
They have been in detention since December 2015, following a dispute between El-Zakzaky members and the army in Zaria.
