Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the crash around 6 a.m. near Highway 20 and 177th East Avenue. Troopers say the driver turned into a tool truck on Highway 20 while on their way to school.

The driver of one car is dead and the passenger was taken to the hospital.

Shay Powell was identified as the victim of the Owasso accident today on social media in a post by Amani Parker that read:
