The media personality has several endorsement deals with known brands like, Quickteller, Fidelity Bank, MTN and many others. In an interview this year, Nedu disclosed that he took after his mother in many ways.

Here are excerpts from the interview below;

How did you move from radio to television?

I am still on radio. It’s just that I used to do news on radio and I later stopped doing that. I started doing programming. But while I was doing the news on radio, I had my television programme on Wazobia TV. I was doing the night show and I also did the game show called GongChai and another Game show called The Box. But for now, I am just doing The Night Show on Wazobia Television and also on radio.

There is so much about you that people like, especially the fact that you are always infusing your dialect into your presentations and also what you did with the MTN advert where you used funny words like ‘osekempe’ and ‘Ojibi jibi’. How do you invent those funny words that keep people glued to your television and radio programmes?

Funny enough those words were not on the MTN advert scripts. I made them up. I cannot explain how those words came to me. I think it has a lot to do with my growing up. My mum used funny words a lot. I cannot remember a lot of them that she used now. I also get them from mixing with a lot of people. When you mix and hang out with a lot of people, you get to pick up these words and then some of them, I just make them up in my head and drop them at appropriate occasions.
