Apostle Suleman, the General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries International, in his sermon on Sunday 22nd July 2018, stated that Nigerian Pastors are more involved in Charity and humanitarian exercises than the Nigerian Government.

According to Apostle Suleman, most of the help rendered by the church of God are not announced on news platforms. Backing up his claims with examples, the Pastor mentioned the benevolence of the Redeemed Christian Church God amongst others, and some of his long lasting charitable works which his congregation were not aware of.

Apostle Suleman who further disclosed that he placed widows in his church on monthly salaries as well as provide food stuffs for them every Thursday of the week, stated that the church/pastors deserve credits in spite of popular opinion as most of the help rendered to the society are unannounced.

He rounded up his sermon by stating that he placed unemployed graduates in his church on monthly salaries, and also paid a #200,000 hospital bill of a woman who is not even a member of his church as she gave had birthed a child but had no funds for her hospital bills but couldn’t settle her hospital bill.

Recall that few days ago, the General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners Chapel International, Bishop David Oyedepo, sent a high level delegation with relief materials and a message of hope and faith to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) in Jos, the Plateau State capital, where over 200 Christians were killed and thousands rendered homeless.

The delegation was led by the 1st Vice President of the church, Bishop David Abioye. Pastor Jeremiah Yisa Abraham, the State Pastor; Rev. Obed Dasham, Vice-President, Church of Christ in Nigeria (COCIN); Pastor Dumka Gomwalk, Covenant Word Christian Center; Rev. John Pofi and other anointed men of God were present to receive the delegation.

Receiving the materials, which include assorted food items, blankets, drugs, mattresses, cooking ingredients and lots more, Rev. Dasham, on behalf of all churches on the Plateau appreciated the President, Living Faith Church Worldwide for this show of love and encouragement in time of need.
