African parents are known to be highly religious and spiritual and a viral video has shown how much their faith influences daily activities.
A Nigerian mum was spotted in a now viral video praying on the pen of her daughter, ahead of the young girl’s first West African Examinations Council (WAEC) exam.
So the WAEC exam for the year 2020 fully started today (practicals had been held in the previous week), and a Yoruba mum is becoming a hot topic on social media after being potted blessing the pen her daughter will use during the examination.
Mixed reactions have trailed the video. While some Nigerians appreciated the effort of the praying mum, others said the mum should have focused on her daughter reading her books to pass the exam and not depending on prayers.
