  10. Hilarious. Threatening to resign is d height of the foolishness. They can buy turkey and time and enjoy… So people make small matter to look big. Maybe there are many jobs out there for them.

  13. That is left for him,if he want to resign ,let him and come down home to his fathers land see ,what life really mean

  14. A promise made should be a promise kept. That’s bad on the manager’s part but employees should just forget about it and work towards a better life for themselves.

  15. That’s the USA…the have respect for their values..Try that rubbish here in Nigeria.. because of Christmas rice you want to resign… Before you finish the statement… you are sacked.

  16. yes oo in a society that works people are made to keep to their promise but in Nigeria reverse is the case especially from Nigerian politicians.

  17. Lola, very funny. This kind thing no fit happen for Naija. Rather is the manager that will be threatening to sack u.

  18. Am sure they can’t try that here in Nigeria, it’s probably because it’s easier to get job over there compare to Nigeria

  19. That is shouldn’t make someone to resign, Turkey is something u know that your pocket can afford to buy, so loosing your job because of a promised Turkey is not a wise decision. I like the Nigerian boy who took a wise decision. Nigerian people no de dull and they no they carry last

  20. You have jobs over there, that is why they are threatening to resign over common Turkey, if it were to be Nigeria, it can’t happen, no job in naija, talkless of wanting to leave the one you have

  21. Seriously, Am sure they can’t try that here in Nigeria, it’s probably because it’s easier to get job over there compare to Nigeria

  25. Funny, just because you Nigerian, it shouldn’t be new to you anyways, na over joyous they worry the rest

  26. Sometimes oyibo people dey behave like mumu. Cos their boss did not give dem Thanksgiving turkey they want to quit their job. They are not serious.

  27. They are looking for free chicken…This one is april fool in November..since last april fool was on easter season…LOlz

  28. Well, that it is acceptable to you based on the fact that you be naija doesnt mean that other countries wont take promises made serious…nevertheless, happy thanksgiving

  29. Well, as a niaja boy, the scenario is not new since is what is being experienced almost every day in niaja but to your colleagues it is a serious matter ooo since where they come from it is better you don’t make a promise than promising and fail. it shows you are not a trusted personality and you can aswell joke with thier lives.

  30. Making a promise is one thing and keeping to it is another thing all together, for d staff I will advice them to stick to their job rather than resigning from their job over a mere turkey.

  31. I hate when people do not keep to their promise it pains me allot… Employees try and keep to your promise
