This is saddening as this is not the first case of a Nigerian dying while running from Indonesian immigration officers because they have incomplete papers or legal rights to still be in the country. In 2017, a man identified as Obinna reportedly died after suffering a heart attack while he fled to his friend’s house to hide from Indonesian immigration officers.
