A Nigerian man has shocked many has he defended the killings by herdsmen, saying more humans should be murdered to equate the amount of cows killed.
As Nigerians mourn the death of scores of innocent people in Northern Nigeria, a man from the northern part of Nigeria has made a very insensitive comment equating the lives of humans with that of cows.
Abdurrahman Lawal said enough humans haven’t been killed by Fulani herdsmen yet and suggested that more should be killed to equate the number of cows lost by Fulani herdsmen.
“I think the herdsmen deserve more sympythy since they stole 300 of their cows and they killed 200 which is not equivalent to 300. 100 more is needed for balance.”

200 people were reportedly killed in Gashish and Ropp Districts of Plateau State on Sunday, during an attack that was carried out on about 11 communities by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
The attack was said to have been launched at Xland, Gindin Akwati, Ruku, Nghar, Kura Falls and Kakuruk all in Gashish District. The communities were completely sacked by the assailants.
The Chairman, Public Accounts and Petition Committee in Plateau State House of Assembly representing Barkin Ladi, Peter Gyendeng, said the attack was “a declaration of war” on his constituency.
He claimed that “mercenaries” have been hired to come and kill people in Barkin Ladi LGA.
