Nigerian female celebs jump on the Black and White challenge

Over the past few days, many Instagram feeds have been overrun with black-and-white images of women both famous and not.

Nigerian female celebrities have also jumped on the campaign that is filling people’s Instagram feeds with striking images about “women supporting women”

In what looks like a way of supporting each other, Tiwa Savage, Funke Akindele, Genevieve, Ini Edo and other Nigerian female celebrities have taken to their Instagram handles to show their support for women with the hashtag #womensupportingwomen in their posts. “Challenge Accepted”

The challenge is for the females to post one of their pictures in white and black/filtered
and accompanied by benign captions about “supporting women.”

The premise of the “challenge accepted” trend is that the photos promote female empowerment, and that nominating friends to take part in the campaign is a way for women to support each other.
