The doctor is now a viral sensation after he saved a child’s life by using a carton to improvise as an incubator.

Dr Chibuike Joseph Chukwudum, who works at a hospital in the southeastern part of Nigeria has been hailed a hero for his actions.

As there was no incubator available at the hospital where he works, he kept a fragile baby alive by creating an incubator with a carton. He then added hot water bottles and a source of light to keep the child as warm as possible.

  1. God is still the same yesterday today and forever. Glory be to God for using Doctor Chibuike Joseph Chukwudum to safe the baby.

  2. and someone will tell me that its not the government that is still making our country a third worlds country. imagine this doctor has the required resources, the home made incubator or other medical equipment he must have invented locally…back to my argument, why cant the health ministry use their budgetary allocation to quip hospitals and health centers with required equipment to function properly? this is becoming very bad and something needs to be done about it as soon as possible. a big well done to the doctor in question, he has saved a generation to come by his ingenuity.

  3. What is it that we can boast of in this our country, government zero, schools zero not even good roads. Imagine government hospital does not have incubator to save lives of little ones. God bless you Doc.

  4. Nigeria has brilliant and intelligent people but lacks the process of managing them. God bless him and more brains and knowledge to him.

  5. We need more doctors like this not the ones that will just go and document on patients folders even without seeing them…God bless you sir..may God keep the baby

  6. This is what we expect from our doctors here in nigeria , kudos to you sir , may GOD give you more wisdom to save people

  7. It’s a good improvement, that other doctors should emulate because most of our hospitals lack materials for saving life.

  8. Hadn’t it been there is doctors in this life, lives would have been lost. Just thanking God and Doctors for saving lives.
