Nigeria needs to take over South African companies – Fani-Kayode

A former Minister for Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that the Nigerian government needs to take over South African companies in the country.

He made the statement in a twitter post on Saturday.

Fani-Kayode mentioned that the South African authority has shown no remorse over the xenophobic attack of Nigerians living in her country, and so Nigeria needs to cut diplomatic ties with them and recall all Nigerians in their country.

He wrote:

SA has shown no remorse for her barbarity and offered no apology for her hate. I maintain that we must nationalize their investments and companies, cut diplomatic ties with them, expel their nationals and recall Nigerians that live in SA back home. Bullies only bow to strength!

Pandor had made the claim in reaction to xenophobic attacks in South Africa, where non-indigenes, including Nigerians had been allegedly killed and their businesses burnt down.

She said:

“Help us address the belief and the reality that our people have that there are many persons from Nigeria, who are dealing in drugs in our country, who are harming our young people by making drugs easily available to them,” Pandor had said.
