A Niger Delta University student whose name was not given, who reportedly turned up in Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa State to steal the phones was forced to dance for hours as part of his punishment.
According to Instagram user @iamstillonstill, the Niger Delta University student who stole four phones and was nabbed while selling them, was also beaten after he danced for the crowd which booed him.
The Instagram user who shared the videos wrote;
The guy go move buckets and was asked to be greeting all the vehicles and okadas passing as punishment. Happened in Otuoke, Bayelsa yesterday.

This is coming few weeks after Master Emmanuel Apiakise identified as a 15-year-old pupil of Community Secondary School, Akenfa-Epie in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, was arrested for being in possession of a gun which he reportedly uses for robbery attacks.
According to Punch Metro, Apiakise was arrested in the school during classes with a locally-made pistol in his possesion, a development that caused chaos and pandemonium in the school.
It was learnt that the teenager was apprehended in school uniform by some indigenes of the Akenfa community led by a local vigilante group and handed over to the police. It was also learnt that the pupil was accosted and searched by the vigilante youths after some residents accused him of being involved in robbery and other criminal activities.
Some sources claimed that Apiakise was arrested in the classroom after a tip-off by some of his schoolmates.
