“We are set to go full blast in 2018. We are going to run shifts and operate on 24 hours basis. Our goal is to supply NPK to farmers in the entire northern states,” he said.
“I am very grateful to the Governor who is eager to see this company work; he has given us a blank cheque.
”With his support and encouragement, we were able to resume production in March last year - one month after I resumed. Within six months we produced more NPK than the company produced in its nine years of operation,” Misau recalled.
The chairman added that the company, which has employed 300 workers, now adequately supplies fertiliser to farmers in Bauchi state as well as neighbouring Gombe State.
“We are working hard to do much more this year; the ultimate goal is to supply the whole country and neighbouring countries,” he said.
Misau declared that the company’s fertiliser is one of the best in the market and invited farmers who need the product to contact the Bauchi Fertiliser Company.
