Laila IjeomaIPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu has stated that his bail revocation which was ordered by Justice Binta Nyako of a Federal High Court in Abuja has exposed her as ignorant.
Recall that we reported that Binta Nyako ordered Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest for failing to abide to abide to bail conditions and also for failing to appear in court.
Responding yesterday, Kanu stated that Nigeria had no right to arrest him because he’s a Biafran and a British citizen.
In a tweet he shared today, Nnamdi Kanu cited a constitutional section to prove Nyako’s ignorance on the order she gave for his arrest.
“Section 36 sub-section 12 of the Nigerian Constitution PROHIBITS trial and conviction of anybody in a Nigerian court of any offence not written down. Secession or self-determination is not written down as an offence in Nigeria. Binta Nyako is ignorant of the law,” he tweeted.
