Mopol attached to hotel allegedly kills man in Lagos

A Mobile police officer who was attached to a hotel in Lagos state has allegedly killed an innocent man.

A man identified as Jude Chemezie, was killed by a Mobile policeman attached to Ileviaoje hotel at Ijegun Ikotun, Lagos, State.

It was gathered that the deceased was heading home after going to buy drinks at the hotel, when the officer just started shooting recklessly, while chasing away some miscreants, and a bullet caught Chemezie in the head.

Just some few days back, policemen in Lagos State made headlines for wrong reasons as they arrested a man who was rushing home to see his dying dad, for having 4 phones.

According to a Twitter user, @saswordus, the arrested man told the Lagos policemen that he was given the phones to deliver to some people in the village. However after the bus driver waited for one hour as he tried resolving the issue with the policemen alongside others, he had to leave without the boy.

His tweets reads;

@NgPoliceForceHQ @NGPoliceForce . Stop from a bus going to Easter part on ikorodu Sagamu expressway for having four phones. NG police did not allow the poor boy to go he was stopped and the driver have to leave after waiting for one hour and begging ur men to allow the boy to go.

Tboy was stopped from bus going to easter part at ikorodu sagamu express way and he explained that people gave him phone to deliver in the village yet our police did not allow him to go only God knowns what happen to him at last
