Meghan Markle has just announced her first non-royal job, and it is a narration role in a new Disney film.
The Duchess of Sussex narrated Disney+’s new film Elephant, which will hit our screens on April 3, and according to Mirror UK, she narrated the movie just three days after she and Prince Harry quit being a royal.
The film follows an elephant family’s “extraordinary 1,000 mile journey across Africa on an adventure that will change their lives.”
The new role is Meghan’s first performance since she gave up her acting career to marry Harry.
The Disneynature channel made the announcement on Twitter, writing:
“Disneynature’s Elephant, an Original Movie narrated by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, starts streaming April 3, only on #DisneyPlus.”
Before embarking on her royal life, Meghan was best known for her role as Rachel Zane in Suits, and many fans hoped she would get back into it after quitting her official duties.
There has been a lot of speculation in recent weeks that Meghan would take a role with Disney.
