Many prophecies don’t come to pass – Reno Omokri kicks against Pastors prophecies

Reno Omokri has kicked against Nigerian Pastors giving propheticies at the beginning of every year.

At the beginning of every year, Pastors in Nigeria are known to dish out prophecies for the nation and events to happen but former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan has kicked against this tradition.

On Tuesday, Reno gave reasons why Pastors should stop giving prophecies and predictions. One of the reasons he gave is that most prophecies do not come to pass while others that manifest are vague.

He added that prophecies by men of God undermines believers’s faith hence they are not necessary.

He wrote:

“I really wish pastors would stop giving New Year predictions.

“Many of them don’t come true. And many of those that do come true are so vague they could have referred to anyone. It undermines believers’s faith and, frankly are NOT necessary.”
