Man narrates how SARS officers forced him and friends to pay N500k ransom, shares the screenshots of bank transactions

A Nigerian man has taken to Instagram to narrate his ordeal with the officials of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in Lagos.

This comes a few hours after Nigerian popular rapper, Ikechukwu was kidnapped by some men of the SARS Operatives.

The man simply recognized as Osaretin Erins posted a lengthy post on Instagram in which he explained how the painful experience with the security operatives had taken place.

Erins further shared that he and some of his friends were illegally arrested along the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway by the officers.

He stated they were all forcefully taken into a bus which was stationed in front of a store that was identified as Jendol Supermarket.

After the arrest, he revealed the officers took their phones, and also took them to an ATM centre while forceing them to collectively pay a ransom of N500k.

The angered man explained further that the SARS officers labelled them as cultists and fraudsters, and also deprived them from contacting family members.

Nigeria is heading towards a state of anarchy and turmoil if all this continues by FSARS and police.. I am really heart broken, please use this medium to share this till it gets to the authority above.. The FSARS are from area M in idimu.

  1. NOT YET A VICTIM,HOPE NOT TO BE ONE, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

BUT SUCH STORIES ABOUND.AND SO TRUE ALSO. MY NEAREST ENCOUNTER TO THIS PHENOMENON TOOK PLACE IN PORT HARCOURT, AT STANBIC BANK, CLOSE TO IST ARTILLERY.

ONE EVENING LAST YEAR,ABOUT 6.30 – 7.00 PM, 4 DIRTY, AND ROUGH LOOKING MEN ARMED TO THE TEETH TOOK OVER THE ATM WHERE OTHER USERS AND I WERE DRAWING MONEY AND FORCED THE MAN WITH THEM TO DRAW A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF MONEY.

HE COLLECTED THE MONEY UNDER THEIR DIRECTION AND WATCHFUL EYES RE- ENTERED THE TOYOTA CAMRY THEY CAME IN AND DROVE AWAY WITH THE VICTIM SANDWICHED BETWEEN THEM AT THE BACK OF THE CAR.

A GREAT DISTANCE AWAY FROM US ,THEY LET THE VICTIM DOWN AND ZOOMED OFF.

WERE THESE SARS?, I KNOW NOT BUT THEY WERE UNIFORMED MEN AND COULD BE REAL OR FAKE.

IT HAPPENS ALWAYS.FRIENDS OF FRIENDS TELL THESE KIND OF STORY.I WITNESSED ONE LIVE.

A LOST GENERATION? ANY HOPE? INDEED A BLIGHT FUTURE.

WHEN YOU GO THROUGH THIS,YOU WILL PREFER SOUTH AFRICA.
