He said he was eventually forced to give the officer thirty one thousand naira from his hard earned money after he threatened to ”waste” him on the expressway.

He further added that the police officer initially demanded two hundred thousand naira from him, while openly boasting to have wasted innocent men in the course of his illegal extortion.

He wrote:

I just gave men of @NigeriaPolice(SARS) 31k of my hard earned money just coz he saw my alert and said a young man like me can’t have such amount or else I’m into internet crime. I tried to form learned man and he blatantly told me he will waste me on the express…..

That I’m not the first and I won’t be the last. @NigeriaPoliceis this the role of your men at Benin express way? This is unfair, life is already hard why are your men treating us like this? This is our country, if we can’t feel safe here then where else is going to be home?

He went through my phones, my social media’s, my chats, he even took time and went through all my messages and pictures. I showed this guy my work ID card and he still kept me on the dirt for 3hours demanding 200k from me. That I’m a big boy GUY MAN who is stingy.

The fight towards #EndSars has not been won. @segalinkI thank you for all you do. I know how scared I was for my life today. I can’t imagine how may times you have faced these murderers. You are a HERO. @NigeriaPolice@NGRPresident@citizen_gavel
