Reports making rounds on social media, claims that a man reportedly committed suicide on Thursday, June 14, in Ozoro comminty, Isoko Local Government Area of Delta State.

It was gathered that the man who committed suicide, allegedly hanged himself after he couldn’t afford the N15,000 bill he was charged over his wife who delivered a baby through CS. Online sources claimed that he went into an uncompleted building and hanged himself with a rope.

Biafra Stars wrote;

“Today being the 14th day of June 2018 at about 1am,a Young Man who resides at uruto quoters Ozoro community hanged himself to death just bec his wife delivered a baby through opetation and the baby and his wife are alive but bec he was charged the sum #15,000 then no money to pay the hospital bills.where are we going to in this country?Just take a look”

This is coming after it was reported that a 75year-old father of 10, Mr Charles Okafor, committed suicide over his wife’s alleged infidelity.

An eye witness said the man used wrapper to hang himself on the roof of his room  on Sunday  at Akitinyi village, Urum, in Awka North Local government area of Anambra state. A member of the family who spoke to Vanguard on condition of anonymity said the deceased had complained to him a few days before his death of   his wife’s infidelity. It   was   gathered that his wife was away when the husband’s death was announced.

The eye witness said: “She was called on phone to be informed of the death of her husband. “He had a disagreement with the wife before she went out, only to be called on phone that her husband had committed suicide”.

Another relation of the   deceased, Mr. Chimezie Udekwe, who described the deceased’s action as “mysterious and painful”, wondered what would become the fate of the children he left behind.
