Man calls out O-Ride after driver allegedly set him up with robbers

According to the man, he hailed the cab on the popular app, after an event, to his home in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos. But rather than the driver taking the usual route, he diverted through another route and ended the trip abruptly.

While Anyi was waiting for another cab, some unidentified men came and attacked him before dispossessing him of his phones and cash.

He wrote:

So Early Morning on Saturday around 3am, I took @OPay_NG
after #HappyNess19 back to Amuwo Odofin and the Driver instead of taking Costain passed Stadium and claimed his Vehicle was Over heating. This guy now stopped me at Adeniran Ogunsanya and ended trip.

As I came out of the @OPay_NG
Ocar ride to get another ride, I was accosted by 4 guys. Two on Foot and Two on a bike and My Phones were stolen from me while this Driver or whatever was Acting as if he was repairing his vehicle. These guys now took me to atms to withdraw my money

From access bank in Adeniran Ogunsanya to Zenith bank at Alaka. I had to fucking walk back alone on foot from there to shitta to use a yellow cab. I’ve been dealing with this traumatic experience since. It is not safe to use Ocar @OPay_NG
. Your Driver is part of this and I need a response
