M.I Abaga and Vector: Willie XO and Hushpuppi drops N40 million for a rap batttle

Following M.I Abaga and Vector recent diss tracks, Nigerian slay kings Willie XO and Hushpuppi have proposed to drop 40 million naira as a reward for whoever wins the faceoff challenge “Rap Battle” at Eko Hotel.

In an attempt to end the rifts between rappers, M.I and Vector, London based-Nigerian singer, Jocey Joseph Ekwuazi better known as Willie XO has increased the N20 million to N30 million and additional N10 million nair from Hushpuppi for a face off rap battle between the duo.

Recall that the duo have been at loggerheads which became more pronounced after M.I declared himself ‘Africa’s best rapper ever’ on his recently released track.

After then, Vector teamed up with some rappers to shade M.I in a track “the purge” and then the former also dropped his, titled “The Viper”

On Friday, October 11, Vector again came through with “Judas The Rat” where he rubbished the former chocolate city boss and this has since then sparked mixed reactions on Twitter.

Reacting to the diss tracks, Willie XO stated that he had been doing follow ups and was enjoying the dramas.

In an Instagram post where he displayed bundles of money, the singer asked them to drop the beefs and take up a rap battle to be held in Lagos. In another new IG post, he made a video stating that the stake has been raised.

He wrote:

This bout to become the biggest showdown in the history of Nigerian music!
My billionaire brother @hushpuppi just added 10Million to the 30Million I put on the table, so now we have ₦40 MILLION ++ on the table, winner takes all. We go even arrange extra big mulla for the opening hip hop acts. Let’s get together and make history for Nigerian hip hop! One mic, two legends, one of them will walk away with 40Million cash doing what they love. This is the time to embrace our culture! Let’s make money not beef.
