Bishop Oyedepo has reacted to the relaxation of the lockdown in several states in Nigeria, querrying why people are not allowed to go to church but to the market.
During a ministering, Bishop Oyedepo can be heard lamenting ans querying the opening of markets for 6 hours whilst the Church are not allowed to open for 2 hours,
He said God spoke to him on this so he can ‘smell a rat’ and the COVID-19 measures are indirect attacks on the Church.

Recall that Bishop Otedepo’s church, the Winners chapel was one of the churches that held a service at he headquarter despite lockdown and social distancing measures put in place by the government to curb the spread of the pandemic.
