Lockdown relaxation: How will people be allowed in market and not in church? -Bishop Oyedepo (Video)

Bishop Oyedepo has reacted to the relaxation of the lockdown in several states in Nigeria, querrying why people are not allowed to go to church but to the market.

During a ministering, Bishop Oyedepo can be heard lamenting ans querying the opening of markets for 6 hours whilst the Church are not allowed to open for 2 hours,

He said God spoke to him on this so he can ‘smell a rat’ and the COVID-19 measures are indirect attacks on the Church.

Recall that Bishop Otedepo’s church, the Winners chapel was one of the churches that held a service at he headquarter despite lockdown and social distancing measures put in place by the government to curb the spread of the pandemic.

This led to the Arewa Youth Consultative Forum (AYCF) calling for the arrest of Bishop David Oyedepo.
