It was fiery Milan derby as Inter defeated their rivals 2-1, but that was not all. Two top players squared off during the game, it what is now the major highlight of the match.
Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic got into some serious fight in tonight’s Milan derby – with the Belgian wanting to fight his opposite number at half-time.
It all started when Lukaku took exception to a foul by Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli. Ibrahimovic stepped in and squared up to the furious Belgian, with the pair going head to head while exchanging heated words.
They had to be separated by both sets of players and were booked for their actions.
But as the teams made their way to the tunnel for half-time, Lukaku had not calmed down whatsoever and wanted to fight the Swede.
He could clearly be heard by the on-pitch microphone saying to the Swede: “Well let’s go inside you b*tch!”, in an invitation to engage in a further confrontation in the tunnel.

It’s worth remembering these two were teammates at Manchester United for a brief period but there was a clear disdain for one another tonight.
Ibrahimovic scored the opener in the 31st minute but ended up being sent off in the second half following a clumsy challenge on Aleksandar Kolarov earning him a second yellow.
