Basketball star, LeBron James has been pictured in LA Lakers uniform for the first time ahead of the new season.
This is the first time Lebron James would be pictured in the Lakers uniform since joining the Californian team
The 33-year-old joined the Lakers earlier this summer as a free agent after leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers at the end of last season in a four-year worth $154million (£117m).
He took to his Instagram story to share several posts of himself wearing Lakers uniform.
Next month’s NBA media day was supposed to provide a chance to see every player in their new team’s uniform but James hasn’t waited for an official unveiling.
The new Lakers uniform sees the franchise return to their classic style of the 1980s – their most famous era. Such was their quality back then, the Lakers claimed NBA Championship titles in 1980, 1982, 1985, 1987 and 1988.
James will be hoping to deliver another title in the upcoming season with the Lakers taking on the Portland Trail Blazers in their opening game of the regular season.
The forward also unveiled a pair of personalised sneakers for the upcoming campaign with the words ‘I’m King’ stitched onto the heel. It looked as though he was filming promotional material for the launch as he posted an image of him on a darkened court with a camera emoji.
