The Dean B. Ellis Library clock tower was lighted red Friday evening, October 4, 2019, in memory of the Arkansas State student.

Chancellor Kelly Damphousse issued this statement:

Beth and I join the A-State family in mourning the passing of our friend and student, Lawson Wherry.

We will honour his life by lighting the Arkansas State University Library – Dean B. Ellis Library tower red tonight.

Keep his close friends and family in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
