Lagos state government shut Landmark Event Centre and 11 others for violating COVID19 protocols

The Lagos State government has shutdown Landmark Event Centre and 11 other facilities for violating COVID-19 guidelines.

The facilities were shut down during an enforcement operation led by the Director-General, Lagos State Safety Commission, Lanre Mojola.

The team was out in the state monitoring activities and enforcing compliance with the government’s directive on COVID-19 protocols.

Some of the other facilities sealed along side event center includes, DNA Night Club, Buzz Bar, Silverfox, Cocoon, Westend Nightclub, Rumours, Lekki Waterside, and The Wave Beach club.

The event centers that broke the COVID-19 guidelines will be charged to court once documentation has been properly processed by the state.

Recall that the Lagos State government banned night clubs, restaurants, schools and event center from functioning due to the second wave of COVID-19 which the country is currently experiencing in other to contend to spread if the virus.
