Tolulope AyeniThere are indications that the federal government might reclaim lands in Abule Ado, after the recent pipeline explosion in Lagos state.
This is coming days after a gas explosion which destroyed properties in the Lagos community and also killed many.
Acting Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Federal Housing Authority, Umar Saliu Buntu disclosed this during a visit to the explosion site.
According to Nigerian Tribune, Buntu said that the federal government in the 1970s acquired the land from Ojo Cantonment to Trade Fair.
The government said that by virtue of its acquisition back in the 1970s, it has ownership of lands from Ojo Cantonment to Trade Fair.
