Ifeanyi Ngerem Barcelona’s Messi wrote a touching farewell message to Ernesto Valverde, who was sacked as manager on Tuesday.
Valverde was fired despite he was doing well in La-Liga and has won la-liga title back to back in each of the two seasons he spent with the Nou Camp side. But his poor performances in the Champions League got him fired, after losing to Atletico Madrid in the Super Cup semi final.
Lionel Messi took to social media to share a parting message.
“Thank you for everything,” Messi posted on Instagram .
“I’m sure you’ll do great wherever you go because besides being a great professional you are a magnificent person.
“Good luck and a big hug.”
