Kidnappers abduct father of APC National Youth Leader’s aide

Suspected kidnappers have abducted the father of Pigo Hedliger, Senior Special Assistant Digital Affairs to the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Leader, Dayo Israel.

Pego raised an alarm in a tweet on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 while calling on the police and leadership of the APC to save his father and family.

The Member of APC Presidential Campaign Council shared a photo of a man he alleged to be the mastermind behind the kidnapping.

The aide said that the suspect connived with some gang members to kidnap his father when he was returning from church.

Pigo wrote: “I wish to use this medium to contact the leadership of our Party @OfficialAPCNg that the lives of my family members in the South East is at Maximum risk. This boy connived with some boys last Sunday to Kidnap my Dad on his way to church but they were apprehended.

I call on the Imo state Commissioner of Police @PoliceNG to take this case very seriously and help me transfer them to Abuja. I call on the APC National Youth Leader @dayoisrael , i call on the APC Young stakeholders to help me ensure this boys are locked up forever.”
