Kidnapped Zamfara schoolgirls regain freedom

The 317 Zamfara school girls who were abducted from the Government Secondary School in Jangebe by bandits have regained their freedom.

According to reports, the girls are currently in the palace of the Emir of Anka waiting for transportation to Gusau, where they will be meeting with the state governor, Bello Matawalle.

Recall that on Friday, February 26, suspected armed bandits stormed the school and abducted the school girls which caused national outrage.

However, It is still not certain if all the girls were freed.
