Kelsey Hipp death was announced on Facebook by the University of Evansville Physician Assistant Program with a statement that reads:

The UEPA Program is heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved Kelsey Hipp. Those that knew Kelsey witnessed first-hand what life can be like when one chooses to let nothing be wasted.

Kelsey had a passion for life that left those around her in awe. She was spontaneous and full of adventure and had a knack for squeezing in a nature hike or scuba dive anytime she had a day or two away from school.

She loved her fur babies Miles and Lucy as fiercely as any mother loves her child. She built a life of love and adventure with her partner Ryan that could never be duplicated.

We mourn the loss of this beautiful spirit. We grieve for the future Ryan and Kelsey should have built.

We are saddened by the fact that no patient will never know what it would have been like to be truly cared for by Kelsey.
