Kayla Rodriguez missing: This is a desperate call for help to find Kayla Rodriguez, Justin Winfrey missing since Thursday evening October 24, 2019.
They went missing in Justin’s plane flying somewhere between Fort Bragg, California and Eureka, California.
27 year old Kayla and 43 year old Justin Winfrey were last seen in person on Thursday, October 24 at 5:30pm filling the small plane’s gas tank before taking off from Gnoss Field Airport in Novato, California.
Police state their Red and White PIPER ARROW tail number N4958J was last tracked on radar Thursday Evening at 9:00PM off the coast between Fort Brag and Shelter Cove (near Eureka).

On Thursday October 24th, 27 year old Kayla and 43 year old Justin Winfrey departed on a small private hangar airplane fight from Novato, CA and heading north at approximately 6:22pm. Justin was piloting, Kayla was a passenger.
The last known whereabouts of the plane is between Rockport and Wheeler (1-6 miles over the ocean), which is north of Fort Bragg.
The plane is a Piper Arrow, #N4958J.
The last signal on the radar of their flight was at 9:23 pm, approximately 5-6 miles off thew coast and between Rockport and Wheeler, CA.
Coast Guard has initiated a search and rescue, but only during daylight hours. They have experience low visibility due to smoke from the Kincade Fires.
The Air Force will also be initiating a search a rescue on Oct 26.
Communications received via Kayla were at:
– 7:17 PM – videos of the Kayla and Justin flying over the Kincade fires
– 7:49 PM – sent another photo of what appears to be dinner (timing is in question)
According to Kayla’s Verizon data usage, the last time trying to access her phone was 9:14pm and 9:15pm. Radar was lost at 9:23pm. @ San Francisco, California
Help is needed to find local fisherman, business owners, and locals of those areas that can be on the lookout.
