Since the outbreak of coronavirus in Nigeria, just one test has been conducted in Kogi state, according to information released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Last night, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) recorded 226 new cases of the coronavirus in Nigeria.
According to the NCDC, the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria are now 6401 and of the 226 new cases, 131 was recorded in Lagos, 25 in Ogun state, 15 in Plateau.
The centre also revealed the total number of COVOD-19 test that has been conducted in each Nigerian state.
According to the NCDC, as of May 18, 35,983 tests have been carried out across the country, while 5,959 have been confirmed positive for the virus.
The newly revealed data showed that Kogi had just one test, while Cross River state had seven test with no positive case.
Lagos State, which had the highest number of tests at 14,886, also topped the list of confirmed cases at 2,550.
