Makeup artist Jenna Wittman worked with THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS for decades.

Before Jennifer Wittman death happened, Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki, Y&R) shared this touching tribute on Instagram:

“It is with a heavy heart that I share the tragic news of our decades-long friend and makeup artist extraordinaire, Jenna Wittman.

On life support, with no hope of recovery, I said my goodbyes and wishes for a peaceful journey into her ear this morning.

Please join me and the companies of Y&R and B&B in prayer, wishing her a speedy journey to the most loving eternity. We will always love you, Jenna.”

After Jenna Wittman death happened, B&B supervising producer Casey Kasprzyk shared the news of her passing:

“Yesterday, the B&B family lost an incredible makeup artist and human being, Jenna Wittman.

Our hearts are heavy, but we smile remembering her sense of humor, dedication to craft, and ability to make everything and everyone better. Halloween 2018 — she made me Steven Spielberg.”

Wittman was for decades, a member of the CBS soap opera families of Young and Restless and Bold and Beautiful as a makeup artist. She was part of the teams nominated for Daytime Emmys and Hollywood Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist Guild Awards, which the Bold and Beautiful team won in 2018.

Jenna Wittman also worked on the series Indoor Boys, starring Bold and Beautiful alum Alex Wyse (Saul Feinberg) in 2017.

Jennifer Nicole Wittman began her career in makeup while a student at Santa Barbara City College. She worked on many of their theatrical shows, and after a few years in retail management, she decided to pursue a career as a Makeup Artist in Los Angeles.

She was eventually hired to work at CBS and spent many years working on The Young and the Restlessand The Bold and the Beautiful, earning 9 Daytime Emmy nominations and 1win.

She also worked on Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, TheGeorge Carlin Show, Gleeand the films Big Fat LiarandPleasantville. Sister Wittman was a frequent volunteer for The Actor’s Fund events and served for many years as a member of the Board of Trustees of Local 706.

She always handled the ups and downs of her career with grace, good cheer and a positive attitude. She will be remembered for her kindness, her optimism and her wicked sense of humor by those of us who were lucky to call her our friend.

She is survived by her children Therese, David and Carolyn. Plans for a celebration of life will be announced.

May her soul rest in perfect peace.
