Jeff Seegmiller obituary, death: 54 year old Canadian Jeff Seegmiller drowned in Mexico 31st October 2019 at a beach in Mazatlan, Mexico.

The tragedy happened shortly before 2:00 pm. Jeff Seegmiller of Canada died when he became trapped in a strong rip current and was unable to swim back to shore.

Search and rescue workers were alerted to a man that was drowning in the beach area of Punta Cerritos. Jeff’s son, WESLEY SEEGMILLER was the one who dragged his father out of the water and started preforming CPR long before first responders arrived.

Unfortunately, Jeff Seegmiller was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lifeguards cordoned off the area while waiting for the officials from the State Attorney General’s Office, to carry out an investigation at the scene of the incident.
