Jamie Vardy unfollows Wayne Rooney on social media amid the feud between their respective wives Rebekah and Coleen.
The Leicester City striker, 32, is so upset with the way things have played out between the I’m A Celeb star, 37, and her fellow WAG, 33, that he has removed the sportsman, also 33, from his Instagram and Twitter accounts.
According to a source:
‘Jamie has always got on well with Wayne, but he won’t stand for having his wife hung out to dry in public like this. He and Wayne always got on well and he likes him. But he has made his feelings clear. Cutting him off on social media is a totally deliberate snub.” The Sun reports
Rebekah cut her family holiday in Dubai short after Coleen’s dramatic accusation on Wednesday, which has enthralled Britain in the so-called ‘war of the WAGs.’
The brunette is said to have threatened her new rival with legal action over allegations of leaking staged Instagram stories, warning her: ‘Believe me or I’ll see you in court.’
The feuding pair are reportedly communicating through their lawyers in the wake of the bitter row which has dominated social media and newspapers this week. Daily Mail reports.
With the storm between the two not looking like it will stop anytime soon, it will be interesting to see how this controversy plays out in the future.
