Iran has vowed not to release the black box of the crashed Ukrainian airliner to Boeing, the head of Tehran’s civil aviation organization said on Wednesday.
Ali Abedzadeh also said it was not clear which country Iran would send the box to so that its data could be analyzed, semi-official Mehr news agency reported.
Earlier today, a plane crash in Tehran, Iran has killed all the passengers and crew members on board an Ukrainian flight, according to Iran’s state-run Press TV.
Earlier reports from Iranian media said that 180 people were on board.
The Ukraine International Airlines plane crashed after takeoff due technical difficulties, according to Iran’s semi-official news agency ISNA.
According to Flighradar24 flight tracker, the Ukraine International Airlines flight 752 was scheduled to take off at 5:15am Tehran time (01:45 GMT) for the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv.
