Skateboarder dies 2020: Beloved skater Jeff Grosso died March 31, 2020 reportedly after a heart attack.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Just a day before Jeff Grosso death, he had posted an adorable video of himself and son Goo dancing on Instagram.<\/p>\n

At this time, an official cause of death has not been revealed.<\/p>\n

Years before Jeff Grosso death<\/a>, the legendary skater battled a serious addiction to pain pills\u00a0after injuries from skateboarding.<\/p>\n

Grosso said in\u00a0an interview with King Skateboard four years ago about finding sobriety that kicking his addiction was just as difficult as kicking off hard drugs:<\/p>\n

\u201cI was only on them for a short period of time. Being a recovering opiate addict, I only took the pills as prescribed and it came to a time for me to kick them. I kicked cold turkey.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s all the same\u2026 Vicodin is an opiate. Heroin is an opiate\u2026 If you\u2019ve been on it for more than seven days you\u2019re going to feel the withdrawal. Some people with addictive personalities like me get extreme withdrawals and others don\u2019t feel a f***ing thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Being a junkie is a young man\u2019s game. You don\u2019t see a lot of old junkies and I don\u2019t want to be one.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not clever, it\u2019s not funny \u2013 it\u2019s not even fun anymore. I\u2019ve got other s*** going on. I\u2019ve got reasons to live today.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Skateboarder dies 2020:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Grosso had also attempted suicide once before when he\u00a0overdosed three times on heroin in Arizona at his mother’s house.<\/p>\n

He told Skateboarding Transworld during an interview:<\/p>\n

\u201cI overdosed out in Arizona at my mother\u2019s house, which is brilliant. That was actually a suicide attempt but whatever.<\/p>\n

I had been out for so long, that was one of those DOA trips. I had been out for so long, all your veins start to collapse. So they couldn\u2019t find a vein to get the Narcan in. Eventually, they just had to shove it into my jugular. Right in the neck.<\/p>\n

So I woke up strapped to a table, my head strapped to a table with a pick line in my neck. It pops you right up.<\/p>\n

Like I said it\u2019s like being lit on fire from the inside out. You wake right up like, \u201cWhat the f***.\u201d<\/p>\n

And all these doctors are standing there like, \u2018You idiot. Do you know where you are?\u2019 I was like, \u2018I don\u2019t know. Australia?\u2019<\/p>\n

The lighting in the room looked like Australia to me.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
